Every frame is custom-built by hand in Los Angeles by artisans who specialize in museum-quality framing. Their work is obsessive, precise, and tailored to each specific piece — ensuring a perfect, seamless fit.

Solid Wood Only — No Veneers, No Shortcuts

My frames are made from real walnut, maple, and pine — never veneer or imitation wood. Solid wood ensures longevity, stability, and that unmistakable fine-art feel.

Permanently Mounted for a Perfectly Flat Finish

Your artwork is mounted to a rigid backing board, so it will never ripple, buckle, or sag — even in larger sizes. This step is often skipped in standard frames, but it makes a world of difference.

No Mat — The Museum-Standard Look

Every artwork is framed without a mat, using custom-made white spacers that separate the artwork from the acrylic. This mat-free style is the standard for contemporary photography in galleries and museums.

It creates a clean, minimalist presentation that keeps the focus entirely on the artwork. The built-in air gap also prevents sticking, condensation, and mold growth over time.

Many collectors who were used to traditional matting have told me they now prefer this refined, modern aesthetic.

Framing-Grade Acrylic — With an Upgrade Option

Each piece comes with thick framing-grade 85% UV acrylic, which protects your artwork from fading and offers a clean, crisp viewing experience.

Want the best of the best? Upgrade to Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic — a virtually invisible, anti-reflective acrylic used by top institutions — and often requested by collectors who want nothing but the very best.

It eliminates glare, reduces dust, blocks 99% of UV rays, and is abrasion-resistant.

Sealed Tight with a Dust Cover

The back of every frame is finished with a professional dust cover, permanently sealed to keep out dirt and debris. This protects the artwork’s interior environment and ensures it stays pristine.

Ready to Hang — Straight Out of the Box

Every framed piece arrives with premium hardware installed, matched to its size:

→ Small artworks: sawtooth hanger
→ Medium, large, and extra large: corner hangers
→ Giant pieces: gallery-grade cleat system

Also included: wall bumpers to protect your wall and ensure the piece hangs evenly.

Your artwork is crafted by my trusted printer, using top-tier archival materials.

I Sign & Inspect Every Piece | 1-2 Days

Once printed, the artwork is shipped to me for signature and quality control. I personally inspect every piece.

I Ship It to My Framer in Los Angeles | 2-4 Business Days

Using FedEx (2–4 business days), I ship your signed artwork and certificate of authenticity to my custom framer.

I offset the carbon footprint of every shipment through Shopify Planet.

The Frame Is Built & Assembled | 2-3 Weeks

Framing takes 2–3 weeks. Everything is custom-made — the wood, the mount, the spacers, and the finish.

Your framed artwork arrives via FedEx Ground or FedEx Freight (for giant pieces), fully protected and beautifully packaged.
